Warranty

Part of the Volkswagen Approved Used Car programme is an Approved Warranty.

According to the age and mileage of your car, the warranty will have one of the following levels of cover:

All Component Warranty

The 'All Component' warranty - (coolant and hoses) guards against failure of most factory fitted mechanical and electrical components of the car.

There are some exclusions which are:

Routine service items
Bodywork, glass and seals
Wear and perishable items as follows:
All adjustments, timing or cleaning
Batteries
Bulbs and fuses
Exhaust systems (although catalytic converters are covered)
Interior and exterior trims
Non-genuine manufacturer’s parts
Tyres and wheels
Un-encased drive belts
Wiper blades and arms
Wiring and connections (including HT leads and aerial co-axial
cables)
Worn brake discs, drum and frictional material
Worn clutch pressure plates, bearings an frictional material
Coolant hoses

Volkswagen Approved Warranty

For cars over 3 years of age and under 100,000 miles a Volkswagen Approved warranty is also provided. Cover will depend on your cars age but will provide a minimum of ‘named component’ cover so your car is protected against the cost of parts and labour for failure in the following areas:

Engine
Gear box
Suspension
Braking System
Drive-line components
Steering System
Clutch

Extended Cover

In addition to the warranty provided Sinclair Volkswagen, at time of your Approved Used Car purchase, extended cover can be purchased to help you protect the investment you have made in your car.
