Choosing the Right Car
At Sinclair Volkswagen, we will do everything possible to help you choose the right car. Listed below are a number of issues to be considered.
Price
We have cars such as the Fox and Polo available at no more than the cost of your weekly allowance. This is called 'nil' advance payment (AP).
Suitability
Sinclair Volkswagen will help you to consider the suitably of a vehicle depending on your individual needs. Because cars vary considerably, the seat height, door opening angle and storage space for wheelchairs and equipment can all affect the suitability of a vehicle. Primarily, your car should be enjoyable and comfortable to drive.
Wheelchair Accessible
Do you have difficulty transferring from your wheelchair into a standard car? Then consider Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV).
Fuel Consumption
Cars vary significantly in how many miles per gallon (mpg) they achieve, and rising fuel costs can add significantly to your motoring costs. More economical cars with a higher mpg cost less to run and are often more environmentally friendly.
Greener Choices
For a clearer conscience and to help minimize the impact of motoring on the environment choose to drive a Volkswagen with lower emissions. Remember, choosing a diesel model could potentially save money in the long term.
Insurance
Like most insurance policies, restrictions and higher excesses are applied should you intend to add drivers aged under 25 to your insurance policy. Drivers under 25 are restricted to cars in Car Group 18 or below of the Association of British Insurers (ABI) 1-50 scale. Please check carefully with your dealer when choosing your car, and ask about PASS PLUS training to reduce the excess for under 25s.
Adaptations
Popular adaptations can be added to your car at the start of your lease at no additional cost. These may include adaptations to assist you with speed and steering, signaling and safety, stowage systems, or seating and access.
