Servicing your Motability Vehicle
What happens when my vehicle needs a service?
Your car needs regular servicing to keep it running well. The cost of each service, and any maintenance repairs necessary due to general wear, is included as part of your worry-free Motability package.
At Sinclair Volkswagen Motability Vehicles are part of the ‘Long Life’ service regime This Flexible regime has been made possible due to the development of new Volkswagen engines with the latest technically advanced longlife oil. These engines use built-in sensors that continually monitor the oil quality, making it possible to enjoy reliable and confident motoring for up to a maximum of 18,000* miles or 24 months (whichever occurs first).
When will my vehicle need an MOT?
The cost of the MOT is also included in your worry-free Contract Hire lease . Remember, you will need to have an MOT completed before you hand the car back at the end of the agreement.

We understand that our valued Motability customers rely on their cars for a number of reasons, we also know that any amount of time without your car can be a major inconvenience. This I why we have put in place a range of solutions to help allow our customers to get on with their day to day business with as little disruption as possible while their car is with us.
Our Volkswagen fleet includes a variety of vehicles which are available for hire whilst your own car is in our workshop.
An insurance charge of ?12.50 per day provides legal cover but if you are able to provide documented proof of insurance for your replacement vehicle then the charge will not be applied. All we ask is that you present your driver’s license on the day of hire and we will make sure that the vehicle is clean and ready for you to use.
Collection & Delivery
If you are unable to bring your car to us then we would be delighted to collect and deliver it back once your service has been completed. Our Collection & Delivery service is available from a variety of locations, so please contact one of our reservation team who will confirm if your postcode is eligible. We aim to collect your vehicle before 11am on the day of your booking but one of our drivers will contact you the day before to make individual arrangements.
If your next stop is less than 20 minutes away, we’ll drop you off and pick you up, free of charge.
**Please be aware that collection and delivery, courtesy vehicles and courtesy lifts may need to be booked in advance of your visit.
